REN opens the doors of the National Museum of Ancient Art

REN - Redes Energéticas Nacionai promotes on the 7th of December a special program at the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (National Museum of Ancien Art), which opens its doors to everyone. The program will have special tours, concerts from Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil de Lisboa (Lisbon Youth Symphony Orchestra), among other special offers. Visits can be made between 10am and 00pm and entry is free during this day.

This action, which results from the support that REN gives to the museum as patron, will have several guided visits to the exhibitions and many concerts.

Situated in Janelas Verdes, Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga is the first portuguese museum. It is installed, since its inception, in the Alvor-Pombal Palace and integrates the widest collection of domestic and foreign works in Portugal. It has a wide variety of objects and decorative arts from the twelfth to the nineteenth century from Portugal and Eastern Europe.

Apart from the permanent collection, the Museum also receives temporary exhibitions from all over the world and develops several activities throughout the year.

Throughout the day, the "The Next Big Idea" television program team will be present at the event to meet the next big ideas for arts and culture in Portugal. Participate with your idea!
