The last stakeholder consultation process, which is essential to understand their expectations and improve the Group’s performance in the key pillars of our sustainability strategy, was carried out in 2023.
The consultation was carried out through a questionnaire conducted via an electronic platform and a workshop with REN’s internal agents. The questionnaire was sent to a sample of respondents that includes stakeholders from all the groups identified by REN (e.g., employees, official entities, communities, suppliers, the financial sector, the media, shareholders, and analysts).
There was an 83% increase in participation compared to the questionnaire conducted in 2021.
The stakeholder consultation resulted in a review of the materially relevant issues for REN, in accordance with the concept of double materiality.
