REN Portgás wins awards from the portuguese association of contact centres

The REN Portgás Contact Centre was honoured with two Gold trophies at the Portuguese Association of Contact Centres (APCC) awards. In its fifth year, the REN Portgás service won the categories "Energy" and "Best Contact Centre” with fewer than 100 agents, the latter applicable to all sectors. REN Portgás Contact Centre is operated in partnership with Manpower TBO, and includes four service lines and two email channels for receiving customer contacts. Additionally, it includes an in-person service point, as well as a telephone and an email support channel for REN Elétrica easement property owners.

Certified by the APCC for the first time in 2021, and with two awards this year, REN Portgás contact centre now has five awards to its name: a Silver (2021) and a Bronze (2022) in the APCC Best Awards in the "Energy" segment, and one for the best contact centre with fewer than 50 service positions awarded by Call Center Magazine (2022).

The APCC Best Awards trophies aim to honour the organisations that have excelled in implementing and adopting best organisational practices in the Contact Centre industry in Portugal. This includes strategic, operational, and technological management, as well as human capital, contributing to the recognition and enhancement of the sector. The APCC Best Awards, granted annually to Contact Centres certified with the APCC Quality Seal, are divided by sector and size.
